Reiki & Seichem Energy Healing Online and in St Neots

You've Stopped for the Evening.
Your Mind Hasn't.

You're on the sofa, still answering tomorrow's emails in your head. Your shoulders are up round your ears, and you're tired, yet nowhere near ready to sleep.

A long bath and an early night won't fix something that didn't start today.

An hour where nothing is required of you.

My Reiki and Seichem sessions work with the energy underneath the stress: the jaw you've been clenching without noticing, the things you've been too busy to feel.

Feel your shoulders drop, your thoughts slow down and your whole body stop bracing for the next thing.

What you've been holding on to for months, even years, can finally start to shift.

The world can stay busy. Your body doesn't have to.

"After the sessions I am noticing that over the past few weeks I have become more grounded in myself, I've been able to set better boundaries with people I have previously found it difficult with and I've taken steps towards a more fulfilled version of myself."

What You've Been Carrying

Think about everything you've lived through:
✦ The things you never got to say.
✦ The feelings you pushed aside because someone needed you.
✦ The same patterns showing up in different relationships, jobs and situations.

You might feel like you've moved on from all of that. But have you really put any of it down?

Maybe you already know why you feel the way you do. You've talked it through with friends or a therapist, and read the self-help books on people-pleasing and the nervous system.

Knowing where the weight comes from doesn't lift it on its own.

Where Reiki & Seichem Comes In

In my practice, I work with the idea that what we live through can leave us energetically weighed down.

It often shows up in the body first:
✦ Tension that's been there so long it feels normal.
✦ Tiredness a good night's sleep doesn't touch.
✦ A nervous system that never quite stands down.

Reiki and Seichem (pronounced "ray-key" and "say-chem") is how I work with that heaviness. As the energy shifts, the body tends to follow. The deep relaxation supports your body's natural restorative processes, and your nervous system can settle.

So you can finally come off high alert.

"I noticed a sense of extreme calm and feeling safe and then being able to fall asleep, sometimes during the session which I don’t normally find easy to do. I am often hyperactive (I have ADHD) and it has really been a grounding experience for me."

What Happens in a Session

You have a full hour, shaped around you.

Arriving.

We start with a short chat about what's been going on and how you're feeling. If we've worked together before, I'll read my notes from last time.

Settling in.

You lie back, fully clothed, while soft, soothing music plays throughout. A guided meditation helps you let go of the day before I begin.

During the session.

There's often a little resistance at first. Then something gives, and I can see and hear you relax. Your breathing deepens and your body softens into the surface beneath you. For some people, it's the first time in weeks they've truly let themselves rest.

Closing.

I finish at the feet, so you feel grounded rather than spacey. You get time to come round and a glass of water, and we close with a short chat. I only share what came up for me if it's kind and useful for you.

In-Person Sessions

You'll lie on my treatment table in my cosy healing space in St Neots, warm under blankets and pillows. Before we begin, I'll ask whether you're comfortable with light touch, or would prefer I work with my hands just above your body. Both work just as well. Once you've settled in, you can simply let go and rest.

Online Sessions

You lie down or sit comfortably at home while we stay connected on a live video call. I was sceptical about distance healing myself until I experienced it. Now most of my clients join me online, and they describe the same warmth, tingling and deep relaxation as those who visit me in person.

How Reiki Found Me

I'm Bjorn. I came to Reiki as a sceptic, on a local introductory course I found completely by accident. Within the first hour, I felt something I couldn't explain away.

Today, I'm a Reiki and Seichem Master Teacher, fully insured and a member of the Reiki And Seichem Association and the UK Reiki Federation.

I weave Reiki into my days in more ways than I can count, and it still amazes me what it does for my own sense of wellbeing, and for the people I work with.

What People Say After a Session

What you might feel.

Clients often describe what they felt before I've said a word: warmth in one area, coolness moving through the body, heat that lingers after I've moved on. They'll ask, "Did you spend time on my left shoulder?" The answer is usually yes, even though their eyes were closed, on my table or at home on a video call.

What might surface.

Some people cry, laugh or smile. Many see vivid images, like a loved one or a calm scene, and we talk them through afterwards. They come up for a reason, even if it only becomes clear later.

In the days after.

Some people need a few easy days, while others feel uplifted and energised. I match my aftercare advice to what came up.

Over regular sessions, clients tell me they feel more present, and the busy hamster-wheel mind settles. With that space, some find themselves ready to make the decision they've been putting off, whether that's booking that course or having a difficult conversation.

What clients mention most is a balance that holds even when the world outside is chaotic.

"I had a wonderful first Reiki session with Bjorn. He made me feel very welcome and safe and I have felt so much better since. Will definitely go back for further sessions."

Sharon

"The Reiki sessions made me feel calm, peaceful, and able to relax much more deeply than I normally can. Even though the sessions were online, I experienced them just as I would in person and was able to feel the energy flowing."

How Reiki Works

Reiki is a Japanese practice, developed by Mikao Usui in the early 1900s. Today, it's a widely recognised, safe and non-invasive complementary therapy, used in hospitals and care settings across the UK.

At its heart is the idea that life runs on an energy that can be shared. In a session, I act as a channel. The energy moves through me and into you, wherever it's needed, while you lie back and receive it. On a video call, I connect with you through intention and Reiki symbols.

The Energies I Work With

My practice is rooted in traditional Usui Reiki and extends into Seichem, which adds three more energies to Reiki's grounding base. You can tell them apart by feel:
✦ Earth is Reiki itself: a soothing, comforting warmth.
✦ Fire is hot and prickly, and works where something feels stuck.
✦ Water is smooth and wave-like, sometimes cool, and meets emotions that need to move.
✦ Air feels light, like a breeze, with a sense of presence, and works on a busy mind and your connection to something bigger.

The Violet Flame. Alongside the four energies, I work with the Violet Flame, which transmutes what feels heavy into something lighter and more harmonious. I often use it for the bigger picture around you: a strained relationship, a situation you keep going back to, a pattern you keep falling into. I hold whatever is weighing on you in the flame, which wraps around it and absorbs it into violet light. In my experience, it works fast.

I let what I sense guide each session, moving between the energies as you need them.

Frequently Asked Questions About Reiki & Seichem

How can I know Reiki works, and that it's not just my imagination?

Many clients feel exactly where I'm working without being told, with their eyes closed, whether they're on my treatment table or at home on a video call. That's often the moment people stop wondering whether they're imagining it.

If you're still wondering how something you can't see can have a real effect, it helps to remember how little of the world our human senses actually pick up. You can't see the wind, but you know it's there by the way the trees move. Your eyes can't see infrared light, yet you feel its warmth on your skin. Some animals perceive far more than we do: a mantis shrimp has up to sixteen types of colour receptor where we have three, so it sees light that's invisible to us. Even scientists believe most of the universe is made of dark matter and dark energy, which no one has ever seen. They only know it's there because of its effects.

That's how I think about energy healing. We can't see it, but we can feel what it does, and clients often feel it in the exact spot I'm working.

You don't need to believe any of this to book. Most people notice what they feel first and think about the explanation later.

What's the difference between Reiki and Seichem?

Seichem is the name for the whole system, which has four energies. Reiki is the earth energy at its base, with the grounded, calming quality of traditional Usui Reiki. The other three are Sakara, the fire energy, Sophi-El, the water energy, and Angelic Light, the air or spirit energy.

The system also includes the Violet Flame, a transmuting energy. Rather than releasing what feels heavy or stuck, it changes it into something lighter and more harmonious, often in the bigger picture around you.

I let whichever energy is needed come through on the day, which is why a session can bring deep relaxation and noticeable change at the same time.

How do online Reiki sessions work?

You join a live video call from home. Before your session, I'll send a few notes on getting comfortable, and you can sit in an armchair, lie on your bed or even on the floor. Many people relax more deeply in familiar surroundings.

The idea of healing someone who isn't in the same room can be hard to get your head around, and I was sceptical about it myself until I experienced it. From that very first distance healing session, it has never stopped amazing me. Before I started practising professionally, I gave more than 30 distance healing sessions as part of my case studies, and what people described was consistently striking. One client, who wasn't sure Reiki could affect him at all, felt an overwhelming sensation of floating in warm water during a session at home. Another told me that even though our sessions were online, she experienced them just as she would have in person, and could feel the energy flowing.

Time and again, distance clients describe the same warmth, tingling and deep relaxation as people who see me in person. That's what convinces me distance is no barrier to this work.

What should I wear?

Whatever you're comfortable in. You stay fully clothed throughout, so loose, soft layers work best. Some people feel warmer during a session and others cooler as they relax, and layers let you adjust. In person, I'll have blankets and cushions ready for you. At home, keep a blanket and a pillow nearby so you can settle in properly.

How many sessions will I need?

One session can be enough to feel a real shift. Some people come back regularly, because the effects build over time: a calmer mind, and a balance that holds when life gets busy. If you'd like ongoing support, you can book a series of sessions. I'll only suggest further sessions if I think they'd help, and there's never any pressure to book them.

I'm pregnant or trying to conceive. Can I still have a session?

Yes. Reiki and Seichem is gentle and non-invasive, and I've worked with pregnant clients who found sessions calming and restful, especially later in pregnancy when proper rest gets harder. If your pregnancy is high-risk or you have any medical concerns, check with your midwife or GP first.
